Jumers Casino IllinoisJumer's Casino is a riverboat casino in Rock Island, Illinois. Rock Island is found on the boundary between Illinois and Iowa, so that many gamblers from Iowa play at Jumer's. In the 1850's, a court case involving damages done by a locally famous steamboat, Effie Afton, took place. The lawyer for the owners of the steamboat was none other than Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln won the case.
