Horseshoe Casino and Hotel - Bossier City, Louisiana

The Horseshoe is a dockside riverboat casino found in Bossier City. It is one of the older casinos in Louisiana, serving patrons in northern Louisiana, southern Arkansas and east Texas. The Horseshoe Casino is about three hours from downtown Dallas.

The casino is around 30,000 square feet, while an accompanying hotel and four affiliated restaurants. The hotel has over 600 rooms, while the casino has over 1,600 game machines and fifty gaming tables.

Restaurants at Binions Horseshoe

Jack Binion's Steakhouse is the flagship restaurant at the Horseshoe. It is named for the legend who started it all.

Village Square Buffet is for those looking for lots of food and lots of different kinds of food. This may be the best buffet in town.

Four Winds is an Asian eatery, with a large menu of your favorites from the Far East.

Oak Creek Cafe & Grill is a cafe and coffee shop, which offers a variety of American style foods and a solid breakfast menu.

Billy Joe Tolliver

The Horseshoe has Billy Joe Tolliver on staff. They signed him last year to develop a personal relationship with regular customers. Billy Joe is one of the most colorful ex-players from the NFL in the last few years.

Fearing for his own backup job with the Atlanta Falcons, Tolliver took Brett Favre drinking every night of Favre's rookie training camp, saying it was a rookie tradition. Favre underperformed with the Falcons and they traded him to the Green Bay Packers later that year. So Billy Joe helped shape the fortune of two NFL franchises with one drinking binge.
